Job Summary
• This role is responsible for leading and advising on critical business initiatives, overseeing analysts across finance sub-functions and geographies/organizations. The role is responsible for driving financial management by analyzing, reporting, and reconciling financial and operational results. The role drives process improvements, provides expert counsel, represents the business unit/organization, and mentors lower-level employees, contributing to operational and strategic success.
As GA PS Attach cum Contra Lead, this role has dual responsibilities:
The candidate is responsible to take the lead in partnering with Attach business team both local and regional teams towards achieving performance objectives for both Peripherals and D&D (Displays, Docks & 3PO) businesses to drive growth acceleration for Attach. In addition, the candidate will also be GA PS Contra lead and partner across teams to lead on GA PS Contra activities and deliverables.
Responsibilities:
Attach
Lead and advise on the most crucial business initiatives, responsible for driving financial management of Attach (Peripherals and D&D) P&L.
Lead and work closely with Attach business teams to drive key business performance metrics – c-rate/p-rate tracking and performance, Revenue, OGM, sell-thru and CI/WOI
Establish with business teams the plans to drive performance at/above budget, accelerate growth and drive long term investment decisions
Drive process improvements, provides finance advisory support and be trusted advisor to business team, drive insightful financial analyses and simulations to assist business team in decision making
Contribute innovative ideas and may lead large cross-functional teams, exercising independent judgment to solve unique and complex problems impacting the business.
Contra lead
Lead all GA PS Contra key activities – Monthly Contra rate reviews, Quarterly BSR reviews, preparation and readiness for Contra Purple implementation
Lead and guide GA PS contra analyst in preparing and ensuring all Contra related deliverables are performed on time – MEC/QEC, rate reviews, Purple parallel run
Lead and guide contra analysts on all Contra SOX-related activities and audit follow up
Be the key contact point for GA PS Finance in contra-related areas - liaison between country Contra/Finance and GA Finance, and also with CFR and WW Contra COE teams
Drive continuous improvements in contra processes, especially in the area of controls and compliance
Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in financial management, internal audit, accounting, or a related field.
