About the Role:
The Network Administration & Computer Support role is responsible for maintaining secure and efficient network operations, providing end-user technical support, and assisting with business systems including Office 365 and ERP platforms. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the stability and performance of our IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain local and cloud-based networks (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs)
- Monitor network performance, uptime, and security
- Configure and support servers, workstations, and mobile devices
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Support Office 365 applications (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams)
- Assist with ERP system access, basic troubleshooting, and workflow improvements
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and backups
- Maintain and manage Active Directory, including user provisioning and group policy
- Document procedures and maintain IT asset records
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in network administration and computer support
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewall configurations
- Proficiency in Office 365 administration and support
- Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and Linux environments
- Familiarity with SQL for basic queries and data troubleshooting
- Experience managing Active Directory environments
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Sage X3, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is a plus, but not required
- EDI knowledge and experience is a plus, but not required
