Your impact
As a Lead Site Reliability Engineer at OpenText, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cloud-based services. You will build innovative solutions to automate operations, eliminate repetitive tasks, and deliver a seamless and resilient experience to our global customer base. Acting as a bridge between development and operations, you will drive continuous improvements in system monitoring, incident response, and operational readiness—powering the success of mission-critical applications at scale.
What the role offers
Opportunity to design, implement, and scale proactive monitoring and alerting solutions
Hands-on involvement in incident response, root cause analysis, and post-mortem improvements
Collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance system resilience and performance
A leadership role in defining and evolving runbooks, automation pipelines, and SRE best practices
Exposure to cutting-edge cloud technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, and major cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure)

What you need to succeed
Deep expertise in Linux systems, scripting (Python, Shell, etc.), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Proven experience with monitoring, alerting, and logging tools (e.g., New Relic, Dynatrace, Zabbix, Kibana)
Hands-on skills in cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Ansible, ArgoCD, GitOps)
Strong background in microservices, RESTful architecture, and middleware support (Apache, Tomcat, Spring)
Familiarity with both RDBMS (Oracle, Postgres) and NoSQL (Cassandra, MariaDB) databases
Ability to lead incident resolution, mentor teammates, and collaborate effectively across technical teams
