For our location in Richmond, VA we are looking for a

 

Dispatcher - Retail Systems

 

Coordinate, Communicate, and make an impact as a Dispatcher!

We are seeking an entry-level Dispatcher to support our Bizerba portfolio solutions for customers in our Retail Division. A successful Dispatcher will have a customer-focused attitude, great attention to detail, and be a self-starter who can drive continuous improvement projects. You'll also play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely coordination of services, vehicles, and personnel, a responsibility integral to our company's success. Please be advised that this role requires on-site reporting.

Your tasks

  • Receive incoming telephone calls, assess, and dispatch service calls.
  • Prioritize and determine best available technician to complete job.
  • Provide feedback to the call center for improvements and customer concerns.
  • Provide field team with parts support to help minimize return trips.
  • Provide backup to fellow dispatchers as needed.
  • Maintain the quality, quantity, and timeliness of dispatch to customer needs, questions, or problems.
  • Ensure proper communication with customer to gather all pertinent information for service call.
  • Consistently follow-up with customer to ensure completion and satisfaction.
  • Track all service calls and provide service call reporting and metrics to management.
  • Maintain service call logs and service manuals.
  • Perform work according to the Bizerba Policy and Procedures Manual

Your profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. An associate degree in logistics, transportation, or a related field is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in dispatching, call center, logistics, or transportation is preferred.
  • Proficient in using dispatch software, GPS systems, and other relevant technology. CRM and SAP knowledge is a plus
  • Strong computer skills necessary (MS Office, including Outlook)
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly and make decisions under pressure.
  • Understanding of local geography, transportation regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
  • Ability to work in a sitting position for extended periods.
  • Available Mon-Fri 8a-5p (must be available to work weekends on an on-call shift, as needed)
