Job Description:

ARHS Group – part of Accenture – is looking for a Senior IT Operations Expert in the accountancy area, IT, and SAP-minded environment for one of its clients at the EU Institutions in Brussels.

Context

The role involves contributing to various components managed by the client, covering the entire processes including SWIFT/EastNets components, NGEU, Bloomberg/Eurex support, and local applications. The main operating system to support will be Linux, including related tools and utilities.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Ensuring best practices for security are implemented and maintained.
  • Checking the operational status of IT components and running periodic tests concerning SWIFT/Bloomberg related processes.
  • Assisting the Treasury and Infrastructure units in terms of Business Continuity and Security matters.
  • Participating in the evolution of the scope of activities concerned.
  • Supporting the monitoring and evolution of products, performing installations and upgrades, and implementing new infrastructure and software.
  • Resolving technical bugs and support the publication/running of applications on various media, ensuring the right security measures are in place.

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of SWIFT, Bloomberg, and Eurex systems.
  • Familiarity with IT security best practices and business continuity planning.
  • Ability to set up and install new infrastructure and software components.
  • Experience in documenting solutions at various stages, including specification, design, release notes, and security procedures.
  • Participation in technical working groups and progress meetings.
