Join our global Crypto Operations team as an Operations Associate in London. We’re looking for candidates with strong crypto or derivatives operations experience to support the local Crypto trading desk and global day-to-day activity. This hands-on role suits those who thrive on detail and problem-solving in a time-sensitive environment.

Your future role at QRT: 

  • Operate as part of a global team, providing responsive support for crypto trading
  • Deliver day-to-day operational support, including trade capture, reconciliation, issue resolution, and full task ownership
  • Oversee timely settlement of transfers across exchanges and custodians
  • Support onboarding of new exchanges, brokers, and custodians (including KYC and infrastructure setup) in coordination with the Crypto COO
  • Identify and implement process improvements, including automation and workflow optimisation
  • Use programming tools (Python preferred) to automate reporting, reconciliations, exception handling, and other operations tasks
  • Partner with Trading, Tech, Risk, Compliance, and Finance to maintain strong post-trade workflows and controls
  • Contribute to the development of QRT’s crypto operating model and support for external managers
  • Collaborate with Tech to develop new tools and applications
  • Manage cash transfers for SMA clients

Your present skillset:

  • Degree educated in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 6+ years of crypto or derivative operations experience in financial services, including trade capture, settlement, reconciliation, and exposure to crypto workflows
  • Proven ability to identify inefficiencies and drive process improvements
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication
  • Programming experience (e.g. Python, VBA) preferred
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to operate independently as well as part of a team
