Job Title: Project Management Business Partner
Salary: £35,250 - £44,000
Hours per week: 35
Location: At IOSH, we embrace hybrid working because we believe it's the key to achieving work-life balance, strategic success and fostering our collaborative culture. You’ll be required to work from our head office in Wigston, Leicester a minimum of 2 days per week. The remainder of your working hours will be undertaken from home.
The successful applicant must have the pre-existing right to both live, and to work in the UK.

At IOSH, we’re on the hunt for not one, but two Project Management Business Partners to help power our bold 10-year ambition and bring our strategy to life.
About the role
As a Project Management Business Partner, you’ll be more than just a project lead; you’ll be a trusted advisor to senior leaders and stakeholders, championing best practices in project management, governance, and benefits realisation.
You’ll take the reins on the end-to-end delivery of high-impact projects, from our estate’s strategy to a cutting-edge digital, data, and technology review. Along the way, you’ll provide expert guidance, ask the tough questions, and make sure every project is built for success—from kick-off to completion.
Your people skills will be just as important as your project management toolkit. By coaching and supporting colleagues, you’ll help strengthen capability across teams and embed a culture where brilliant project delivery becomes the norm.
What you'll bring
- Proven experience managing projects across the full lifecycle using formal project management frameworks such as Prince2 or equivalent.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence, challenge, and collaborate effectively across all levels to deliver impactful project outcomes.
- The confidence to be a visible champion for the PMO, driving best practice, sharing knowledge, and building collaboration across teams and with external partners.

Essential criteria
· Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence, challenge, and collaborate effectively across all levels to deliver impactful project outcomes.
· Excellent communication skill- verbal and written, with proven ability to prepare and present reports, status updates, project plans, executive-level project updates and reports for the Programme/ Project Board and other corporate governance requirements.
· Proven experience managing projects across the full lifecycle using formal project management frameworks such as Prince 2 (or equivalent) to deliver successful projects.
