10-Month Clerk chez Scarsdale Public Schools

Scarsdale High School is seeking a dependable, organized, and customer-service–oriented General Office Clerk to join our main office team. This individual will play a vital role as the first point of contact for students, parents, teachers, and community members, while also supporting the daily operations of the school office.. 

Responsibilities include:

• Respond to parent, student, teacher, and public inquiries via phone and email
• Record students attendance in infinite campus and create reports when necessary
• Provide information and assistance regarding attendance, school policies, and general inquiries
• Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages (interoffice, USPS, UPS, FedEx, newspapers, etc.)
• Prepare outgoing mail and coordinate with couriers for pickups
• Assist with event setup, copying, handbook and student ID distribution, and graduation-related tasks

This is a Competitive Class Civil Service position. All candidates MUST hold permanent status in the title of Clerk, or be reachable on the current Westchester County Civil Service list for the title.
