Role Description

As a Data & AI Delivery Director for LS. you will play a pivotal role in driving and shaping client engagements within the BFSI sector. Leading a team of 40+ banking analytics, data science, and data engineering professionals, you will leverage your deep experience in data science and your understanding of data engineering to deliver impactful solutions for our banking clients.

This role will require you to drive thought leadership, implement new analytics-enabled solutions, and oversee the day-to-day delivery of projects for marquee banking clients.

Technical Skills

Client Delivery & Engagement

• Utilize strong problem-solving skills and deep domain expertise in the Life Science vertical to conceptualize and deliver solutions across various areas.
• Manage client relationships, create proposals, and oversee project management activities.
• Demonstrate strong delivery management capabilities, handling multiple client engagements simultaneously.
• Entrepreneurial and Collaborative approach - Ability to work with cross functional stakeholders across Business, Data, Analytics, etc and influence to drive desired outcomes.

Problem Solving & Solutioning:

• Experience in building data enabled solutions leveraging a combination of reporting, statistical modelling, machine learning, data engineering etc.
• Strong experience in new opportunity identification, developing solution frameworks and proposals.
• Experience using analytical concepts and statistical techniques for creating end-to-end solutions: hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analyzing data.
• Experience of using statistical techniques: logistic regression, log-linear regression, variable selection, & ML techniques – GBM, Random Forest, Random forest etc. for development of cutting-edge solutions that drive impact for the client teams
• Prior hands on experience of using python, pyspark, big data technologies is preferred.

Domain Expertise:

• Possess a thorough understanding of banking business operations and key decision-making factors across various banking lines of business (LOBs), including marketing, risk analytics, and mortgage analytics.
• Engage in client communications for all important functions including data understanding/ exploration strategizing solutions, etc.

Team Management & Collaboration

• Proven ability to manage, grow and expand Analytics delivery team. Prior experience of managing day-to-day delivery for medium or large-scale teams in the past.
• Ability to drive team engagement, team performance management, manage attrition etc.
• Strong recruitment skills with proven experience in defining & evaluation key skills (technical, interpersonal)
• Ability to work closely with HR functions (talent acquisition and talent management) to drive high quality talent acquisition and engagement.

Key Performance & Success Metrics 

The incumbent would be responsible for and rated on following performance parameters - Delivery led Revenue, Gross Margin, CSAT Score and Employee Engagement metrics (Attrition etc.)

Qualifications

Experience:

• 12-16 years of deep experience in Analytics & Data Science, in consulting organizations for LS Clients
• Understanding of Data Engineering solutioning is preferred, but not a must for this role.
