The Patient Scheduling Representative plays a key role in ensuring patients receive timely, accurate, and well-coordinated care. You’ll support patients, families, and providers by arranging appointments and preparing everything needed for smooth clinical visitsJob Description:
What You’ll Do
Coordinate scheduling of patient infusions, procedures, and diagnostics for assigned departments
Schedule appointment times using computerized scheduling programs
Verify appropriate clinical indications in line with department requirements
Work closely with medical and clinical staff to confirm patient needs, facility availability, and required preauthorizations
Communicate with patients and families to provide pre-procedure instructions and confirm appointment details
Maintain accurate records and support the clinical team with administrative scheduling tasks
What We’re Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior scheduling or healthcare office experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with clinical staff and communicate effectively with patients and families
Comfort with computer systems and scheduling programs
