Location – This is a hybrid role, which means that you will have the flexibility to work both onsite and at a distance. You will collaborate onsite at our La Farge, WI office for 4-8 days per month, and the rest of the time you can choose to work remotely or onsite.

Summary of Role
The Director of Sales Finance is a key strategic leader responsible for driving enterprise-level financial planning, forecasting, and performance management across all sales channels and customer segments. This role partners closely with executive leadership and commercial leadership to optimize net revenue, trade investments, and pricing strategies, while ensuring financial discipline and transparency. This position leads a high-performing team and plays a critical role in shaping the financial strategy of the organization, influencing decisions that drive long-term growth, profitability, and member value.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Co-own the commercial P&L with Sales Leadership, ensuring alignment with corporate financial goals.
• Lead long-range planning, annual budgeting, and rolling forecasts for revenue, volume, and trade spend.
• Provide strategic insights to the CFO and Executive Team on revenue growth, margin expansion, and investment prioritization.
• Oversee customer-level P&L analysis, identifying opportunities to improve profitability and optimize mix.
• Develop and implement pricing strategies that balance competitiveness with margin protection.
• Partner with Revenue Growth Management to drive pricing architecture and promotional effectiveness.
• Lead the evaluation and governance of trade spend, ensuring ROI-driven decision-making.
• Establish internal controls and compliance frameworks for trade investment management.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to align promotional strategies with financial objectives.
• Build and scale advanced analytics capabilities using tools like Power BI, SAP, and predictive modeling.
• Deliver executive-level dashboards and insights that inform strategic decisions.
• Champion data-driven culture across the Commercial and Finance organizations.
• Serve as a key liaison between Finance, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Demand Planning.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve forecast accuracy, pricing agility, and customer performance.
• Translate complex financial data into actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of finance professionals.
• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Drive succession planning and leadership development within the finance function.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in Sales Finance, FP&A, or Commercial Finance, preferably in CPG or food and beverage.
• Proven track record of leading financial strategy, trade optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Expertise in financial systems (SAP, TPM/CRM, Power BI, Anaplan) and advanced analytics.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization. 
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. 
• Motivated self-starter with the ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities. 
• Skilled in managing, adapting to, and promoting change.

Base salary wage range: $124,010 - $178,760 per year
This salary wage range is exclusive of fringe benefits. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary bonuses. If you are hired at CROPP, your final base salary wage compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that entry-level candidates to this role should expect to be at the lower end of the salary wage range and hiring at the maximum of the salary wage range is not typical.
