In your future role as a Cloud Cybersecurity Architect, you will

 

Support the cyber security initiatives to protect Nouryon through the secure configuration and maintenance of cybersecurity tools and the following:

 

  • Design and implement secure enterprise architecture solutions that align with company cybersecurity and IT standards
  • Evaluate proposed solutions to ensure alignment with security framework; recommend improvements as needed
  • Communicate security concepts effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Oversee the ongoing management of the Enterprise Cloud Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP) solution, ensuring robust security measures are in place to protect cloud-native applications and infrastructure.
  • Contribute to the delivery of cybersecurity of technical requirements for all projects that go on at a business and IT level
  • Stay up to date on emerging threats, technologies and industry best practices

 

 

Risk analysis Identify and analyze cyber security risks, stakeholders and linkages to other activities and define required risk remediation activities

Result: Cyber security risks are identified, reported, clear, and well understood

 

Remediation execution Coordinate, monitor and accountably execute remediation activities to mitigate cybersecurity risk and take corrective actions when necessary.

Result: Timely delivery of remediation activities and reporting of information to the Director of Cybersecurity Architecture & Engineering

 

Relations ManagementBuild, maintain and utilize a network of in- and external stakeholders/partners within the organization

Result: Cohesive relationships that contribute to risk remediation

 

Technical expertiseBe a Subject Matter Expert on cybersecurity tooling, help deploy technology to enforce technical security requirements, standards, and procedures.

Result: Technical support and expertise are available and required resources are approved

 

 

We believe you bring

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or other related fields or relevant experience
  • Cybersecurity certifications such as AZ-500, AWS Security Specialty, SC-100, GICSP, GIAC or GRID are a plus
  • Certifications in vendor Cybersecurity Platforms are a plus
  • 7-10+ years of overall experience, including at least 2-5 years specifically in a cybersecurity architecture-related role
  • Strong experience in cloud security (Azure), Containers, Identity & Access Management, infrastructure architecture, and zero trust frameworks
  • Proven ability to analyze architectural risk, perform threat profiling, and apply compensating controls in complex business scenarios
  • Proven experience in managing CNAPP Solutions
  • Familiarity with regulatory environments; experience in Chemical Manufacturing or Oil & Gas
  • Deep understanding of security controls and how to apply them through technology, configuration, and architectural design
  • Ability to assess gaps in ideal-state architecture and propose acceptable risk-based solutions
  • Broad technical knowledge with the depth to understand and assess a range of security technologies and platforms
