What You’ll Do:

We are seeking an experienced IT professional to lead the design, development, and management of our enterprise DataMart, integrate with ERP and other business systems, and deliver impactful reporting solutions using Microsoft Azure and Power BI.

This role will manage developers focused on system integrations, providing technical direction, prioritization, and oversight, while also performing hands-on development work. The individual will partner closely with the Finance & Planning teams to ensure accurate, timely, and actionable data for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management

  • Manage and mentor developers responsible for ERP and third-party system integrations.
  • Assign and prioritize development tasks, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and foster best practices in development and integration work.
  • Collaborate with IT leadership to align integration efforts with broader business goals.

DataMart Development & Management

  • Architect, implement, and maintain the organization’s DataMart using Azure SQL Database, Synapse Analytics, and related Azure services.
  • Oversee ETL/ELT pipelines in Azure Data Factory to ensure reliable and efficient data flow from ERP and other systems.
  • Monitor and tune performance, ensuring data accuracy, availability, and security.

ERP Integration & Development

  • Lead ERP data integration efforts, ensuring consistency and completeness of financial and operational data.
  • Work with ERP administrators to design custom scripts, reports, and APIs to support reporting needs.
  • Resolve ERP-related data and process issues impacting analytics.

Power BI Reporting & Analytics

  • Build and maintain Power BI datasets, dashboards, and reports for Finance, Planning, and operational teams.
  • Implement advanced DAX measures, optimized data models, and row-level security (RLS).
  • Ensure reporting solutions meet performance and usability standards.

Application Development & Automation

  • Guide and participate in development of automation scripts and integration utilities (C#, PowerShell, JavaScript, Python, SQL, etc.).
  • Oversee API-based data exchanges between Azure, ERP, and external applications.
  • Ensure proper documentation, testing, and version control.

Data Governance & Quality

  • Establish and maintain data definitions, lineage documentation, and governance standards.
  • Implement quality control processes to identify and resolve data issues.
  • Collaborate with IT security to enforce access controls and compliance standards.

Business Partnership

  • Serve as the primary IT contact for Finance & Planning data initiatives.
  • Translate business needs into technical solutions and reporting deliverables.
  • Provide training and guidance to business users on self-service analytics tools.                                             

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in data engineering, BI, or ERP development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or team lead role.
  • Strong background in Microsoft Azure data services (Azure SQL Database, Synapse, Data Factory).
  • 3+ years of Power BI development experience (DAX, M/Power Query, data modeling).
  • Strong SQL skills (queries, stored procedures, performance tuning).
  • Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar) and their data models.
  • Proven experience managing developers and overseeing system integration projects.

Salary: $110,000-$140,000 annually
