Join Our Team as a Customer Service Representative (CSR) – Weekend Evenings
Carolina Animal Specialty & Emergency – Hickory, NC

Do you love animals and people? Are you calm under pressure, organized, and passionate about providing excellent customer service? Carolina Animal Specialty & Emergency (CASE) is looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our Emergency Service Team on weekend evening shifts.

At CASE, we’re proud to provide advanced specialty medicine—including internal medicine, surgery, and 24-hour emergency and critical care—supported by an exceptional team of doctors, technicians, assistants, and client service professionals.

Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role:

  • Welcome patients and families with warmth and professionalism
  • Answer and direct phone calls promptly while multitasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Support clients with appointment details, account updates, and general questions
  • Assist in resolving client concerns with empathy and efficiency
  • Partner closely with medical staff to ensure seamless care and communication

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Veterinary experience strongly preferred
  • Availability for rotating weekend evening shifts
  • Strong communication skills—both written and verbal
  • Ability to stay composed in high-stress situations
  • Comfortable sitting, standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs
