Homeoffice Full Stack Engineer

We’re looking for an insanely talented and passionated Fullstack Developer to join our remote-first team and help us take HiCareer to the next level. What You’ll Do

This isn’t your standard development role. At this stage, every decision you make and every line of code you write will shape HiCareer’s future. Here’s what we need:

• Building and scaling our frontend and backend systems to prepare for massive growth.
• Developing features that transform how users find, apply to, and prepare for jobs.
• Driving AI/ML integrations to create smarter, more personalized user experiences.
• Designing and implementing tools for scraping, integrations, and automation to give us a competitive edge.
• Collaborating closely with us (Fredrik and Dejan) to identify challenges, brainstorm solutions, and deliver meaningful results.

We’re not looking for someone who waits for direction — we need a proactive problem-solver who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and make things happen.

Our Tech Stack

We’ve built HiCareer on a solid and scalable foundation, but we’re even more excited about what’s next. Here’s where we’re at:

• Frontend: Angular + TypeScript
• Backend: Python + Django
• Infrastructure: Microservices architecture powered by Docker and Kubernetes
• Cloud: Digital Ocean

This is a hands-on role, and you’ll have the freedom to influence how our stack evolves. We’re committed to building something scalable and future-proof, and we want your input to make it even better.

Who You Are

This isn’t a role for everyone. You’ll thrive here if you:

• Have a couple of years of experience in fullstack development, ideally in a fast-growing startup, SaaS, or marketplace environment.
• Have expertise in Angular, TypeScript, Python, Django, Docker, and Kubernetes. But tbh, we're looking for a builder and not someone that is stuck with a specific stack :)
• Thrive in early-stage environments where things move fast, and you’re expected to figure things out.
• Bring a playbook for solving problems and can adapt it to the unique challenges of a fast-growing platform.
• Have a natural talent for thinking critically, solving problems creatively, and executing with precision.
• Bonus: Experience with AI/ML, scraping, or automation would make you stand out even more.
