This position will be responsible primarily for shift coverage and will be responsible for general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting space, and front of the house areas. Guest room and public area entry-level preventative maintenance are included. This position will also perform some repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment, requiring some skills and experience in these areas, as well as good communication skills.

Candidate will maintain building and equipment. 3 years hotel experience. Strong troubleshooting skills (electricity, plumbing, etc.)

The expected pay for the position is $25.00 per hour.

  • Ability to respond to guest service calls and team member work orders in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
  • Ability to perform a variety of repair and maintenance related tasks including, but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, painting and electrical tasks if required.
  • Ability to perform visual inspections of machinery areas, annotate meter readings and perform other preventive maintenance related tasks.
  • Ability to record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention.
  • Ability to respond/assist in emergencies.
  • Possess the ability to communicate effectively through written and oral means.
  • Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays if required.
  • Must possess basic computer skills, i.e. Word, Excel etc.
