About The Role
Since we are an early-stage startup, you have the opportunity to get in on the ground floor and make a lasting impact. This is a 4 month full-time internship starting in September 2024, with a possibility to be extended. This internship is open to post-secondary students, currently enrolled or returning to post-secondary studies following their internship with us. Candidates should be located in the Eastern Time zone in Canada.
What You'll Be Doing
You’ll have the opportunity to work on projects across site reliability engineering, platform engineering, developer experience and security. More specifically, you’ll help create pipelines, processes, infrastructure and services upon which application developers can build to advance our products and position in the marketplace.

You’ll Be Exposed To These Technologies
- We use Amazon Web Services extensively.
- We use AWS SNS/SQS for message passing.
- We use AWS Fargate for container orchestration.
- We use Bitbucket for our source code repository as well as our CI/CD pipelines.
- We use Terraform for our infrastructure-as-code platform.
- We use Node.js/Typescript as our coding platform.
- We use MongoDB as our database.
- We use GraphQL for our API gateways.
- A 3rd or 4th year student pursuing a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Self-motivated; independent, organized and proactive; highly responsive, flexible, and adaptable when working across multiple teams
- Ability to think critically and work autonomously in both well-defined and ambiguous project environments
- Experience with market research and business analysis is considered an asset
- Demonstrated passion for investment technology is considered an asset
