About this role:

The MindBridge Analytics Platform team seeks a motivated individual for data engineering and machine learning. Responsibilities include developing software, expanding tests, resolving production issues, and suggesting alternative solutions. The role involves enforcing best practices, improving team processes, and effectively communicating with development and management teams to anticipate and resolve potential problems.

Your responsibilities:

• Work with multiple levels of peers to interpret feature requests and develop software in interactive design/build/test cycles.
• Assist in resolving production support problems.
• Enforce standards and best practices in the workplace.
• Communicate effectively with the development and management team to anticipate and resolve potential problems.
• Proactively seek opportunities to implement improvements to internal team processes and procedures.
• Develop and suggest alternative approaches to resolving problems.
• Develop and expand unit and integration tests.

Your qualifications & requirements:

• Proven experience developing enterprise level full stack server or cloud technologies and applications.
• Knowledge of autoscaling systems.
• Knowledge of distributed computations.
• Willingness to prototype and objectively evaluate new tools and technologies.
• Experience with performance optimization and profiling.
• Production grade graphics processing or hardware acceleration is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and excellence in work performed.
• Experience and ability to work in a kanban or agile software development environment.
• Knowledge of data science and machine learning as relates to anomaly detection.
• Experience with building and querying large databases and datasets.
• Proven ability to deliver with quality while meeting deadlines.
• Experience with larger than memory data processing tools such as Flink, Spark or Dask. Alternately, experience with resource limited systems like embedded or edge devices.
• BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science, related academic program like e.g. Applied Statistics or Mathematics, or equivalent training and professional experience.
• 5+ years actively delivering and maintaining production quality features.
