Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs and recording medical history.
- Assist the physician during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments are available.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
- Maintain patient records while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality at all times.
- Schedule patient appointments and manage office communications effectively.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and appropriate skincare practices.
- Ensure the examination rooms are clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role within a clinical environment.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and practices relevant to dermatology.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and team members.
- Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail, especially in fast-paced conditions.
- Basic proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and standard office software.

Compensation Range: $22.00 - 27.00 per hour. Final offer will be based on a combination of skills, experience, location, and internal equity.
