Role Overview
We are seeking a Cross-Asset Research Intern to support our research initiatives across global financial markets for a period of 6 to 12 months, with the possibility of conversion into a permanent role.
This role has a strong focus on market research, cross-asset analysis, and written output. The intern will contribute to proprietary internal research as well as written materials such as market commentary, strategy notes, and thematic research articles on topics spanning macro trends, asset allocation, market structure, and quantitative themes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct structured research on cross-asset markets (equities, derivatives, FX, fixed income, commodities, crypto)
- Analyze macroeconomic, quantitative, and market structure themes across global markets
- Support the development of internal research notes and strategy reports
- Write high-quality research articles, market commentaries, and thematic briefs
- Assist in the collection, cleaning, and analysis of market and economic data
- Perform quantitative analysis to support research narratives and insights
- Collaborate with traders and quantitative analysts to align research with strategies and market positioning
- Contribute to idea generation for new research themes and content
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Economics, Finance, Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, or related fields
- Strong interest in financial markets, macroeconomics, and cross-asset research
- Excellent written communication skills in English with the ability to produce structured, high-quality research pieces
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to independently research, synthesize information, and present clear conclusions
- Intellectual curiosity and interest in market-driven research
Preferred / Desirable Experience
- Experience with Python and data analysis tools is an advantage
- Experience in a proprietary trading, market-making, or hedge fund environment
