Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Commissions Analyst to support our team in managing our Medicare commissions processes. This role is critical to ensuring commission data is processed accurately and efficiently while maintaining the integrity of our systems and reports. 

The ideal candidate thrives in data-driven environments, has strong attention to detail, and enjoys solving complex data reconciliation challenges. 

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Download, prepare, and organize commission statements from multiple Medicare carriers. 
  • Upload, validate, and reconcile commission data in our management system (AgencyBloc) ensuring accuracy across all entries. 
  • Assist with onboarding new agents and carriers, including payee setup and backfilling historical data. 
  • Conduct regular audits of carrier payments, agent records, and policy data to identify and resolve discrepancies. 
  • Track and follow up with carriers on missed or inaccurate payments. 
  • Generate commission reports and summaries for internal stakeholders and leadership. 
  • Support process documentation and identify opportunities for workflow improvement. 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely payouts. 

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in a finance, operations, or data-heavy role (insurance or healthcare industry preferred). 
  • Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas, reconciliation tools). 
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills. 
  • Experience managing large data sets and multi-step workflows. 
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. 
  • Bonus: Experience with Medicare commission structures.
