JOB TITLE: Supply Chain Coordinator / Inventory Analyst
DEPARTMENT: Supply Chain
REPORTS TO: Supply Chain Manager
SUMMARY: This position is responsible for planning, tracking, analyzing, and reporting inventory-related financial data. This role ensures accurate valuation, cost control, and compliance with accounting standards while working closely with procurement, operations, and finance teams. This role will work under general supervision at the direction of the Supply Chain Manager.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Production Planning
- Review the inventory forecast and schedule Production
- Identify Raw material and send requisition to the Procurement team for pricing and generate a purchase order
- Follow up with Vendors for timely deliveries and receiving the materials in Oracle
- Send Work orders to production sites
- Record production entries from all plants in Oracle
Inventory Management
- Perform Weekly/monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory reconciliations between the ledger account and physical inventory, for which travel may be required
- Investigate variances and analyze root causes and provide resolutions.
- Prepare reports on inventory valuation, obsolescence, and shrinkage.
- Record Inventory adjustments after management approval
- Develop initiatives to reduce slow-moving inventories and to improve inventory turns.
- Generate and maintain weekly/monthly reports on inventory levels and communicate to the stakeholders
- Restock warehouses in North America based on minimum required levels
- Generate IRs for movement of goods between Dorf Ketal entities
Logistics
- Coordinate transportation of products from production sites/warehouses to internal warehouse/customer locations
- International Shipments: - Manage ocean freight operations, including procuring quotations, booking shipments, tracking cargo, and ensuring timely delivery.
- Product Samples - Process sample requests using Impact’s Power App and verify the existence of a valid non-disclosure agreement (NDA).
- Review Intransit Report and coordinate with warehouse team for timely customs clearance and delivery to warehouse to meet dispatch dates
Other activities
- Periodic evaluation of the warehouse operator to ensure that the warehouse is meeting the required service levels
- Keep record of warehouse non-conformances and conduct periodic meetings with warehouse manager/staff to close out the non-conformances
- Report to upper management on stock levels, issues, etc.
- Participate in department and company meetings as required
- Other projects as required.
- Support and assist in implementing and maintaining the RCMS program. Identify training needs of personnel. Promote awareness of the RCMS guiding principles and Dorf Ketal's HSSE policy, objectives and goals in addition to how they can contribute to them.
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Supply Chain Manager to support departmental goals and operational efficiency.
- Support and assist in implementing and maintaining certified management systems ascribed to DK such as ISO 9001. Identify training needs of personnel. Promote awareness of risks and opportunities associated with their work. Maintain an understanding of the Quality policy and how they personally contribute to meeting DK objectives and goals
- Support and assist in implementing and maintaining the RCMS program. Identify training needs of personnel. Promote awareness of the RCMS guiding principles and Dorf Ketal's HSSE policy, objectives and goals in addition to how they can contribute to them.
- Other projects as required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field, preferred
- ERP System. (Oracle, SAP or similar ERP System)
- Advance MS Excel Skills.
- Experience/Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, and/or operations.
Work Conditions:
This position requires working in a standard office environment with moderate noise levels, primarily sitting at a computer workstation. Employees will need to be able to lift light objects, have close vision for computer work, and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
