About the job

About Our Client

Blindness is a largely preventable consequence of poorly managed chronic eye diseases. The prevalence of these diseases is expected to double between 2020 and 2050, contributing to rising costs. However, with tailored, timely patient engagement, disease progression can be slowed or stopped in over 95% of cases. The hiring company is leveraging data-driven virtual care management, funded by the National Eye Institute, to address this problem. They focus on personalized engagement and offer care coordination, promoting compliance, and providing support with various patient needs. With access to medical records of thousands of patients and partnerships with hundreds of eye care specialists, the company aims to drive better outcomes and reduce costs.

About The Role

  • Conduct ad hoc financial analyses as requested by management to address specific questions or concerns, such as pricing strategies, cost optimization initiatives, or performance benchmarking against competitors.
  • Coordinating investor communications, investor presentations, and investor meetings. Manage the cap table, including Carta, options issuances and 409A valuations.
  • Oversee the generation and sending of invoices as well as tracking payments, following up on late payments, managing billing disputes, ensuring compliance with taxation, and maintaining positive client relationships through clear communication and efficient processes.
