What will you be doing?

MHF is a multi award-winning small charity. You are a self-starter, a strong communicator, ideally with lots of social media experience, looking to make an impact. If you love meatballs or not, this is a campaign that's already caught the attention and support of many top chefs! This is a foodie fundraiser with a simple goal ~ to leverage the campaign by engaging the nation's appetite throughout the month of November by encouraging for example social influencers to support and in so doing, help make more Muscle Dream interventions a reality! We are looking for a savvy social media volunteer to help us drive the campaign forwards. With support from MHF's CEO, you will have full autonomy across our chosen social channels to help make the campaign an even greater success in 2024. You'll have bags of energy, initiative and strong comms skills. This is a short term 4-month project. We have most assets already in place. The key deliverable is to amplify awareness, exploiting social media by posting messages that will help generate campaign awareness and engagement. With your help, we want to make lots of 'social noise' in the lead up to November. Ideally, you will start this voluntary opportunity in Sept, building the social momentum across Sept & Oct, into Nov and then wrapping up in Dec. In addition to MHF's CEO, you will work with one or two other volunteers, namely those with copy-writing and creative graphic skills in addition to a niche PR/comms contact to make sure that messaging is aligned and has impact across our social platforms. We believe this role will lend itself brilliantly to someone who may not only be a bit of a foodie but who can also see the opportunity and who can make things happen - we've no doubt that it will be a fun short-term project, with tons of flexibility. We'll support the volunteer as much as we possibly can to ensure success. If you have a creative flair, if you've got great digital skills (including knowing how to use various social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn), we want to hear from you. And finally, do you watch those fun foodie TV shows? Maybe you know some chefs or restaurant chains? Perhaps you know your way around the hospitality or catering world? Maybe, just maybe, you know people that might be interested in partnering with us on this campaign? If so, let's talk!
