WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING?
As a Senior QA Engineer at Your Parking Space, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring our parking products meet impeccable quality standards. Your role involves crafting and executing cutting-edge test cases that uphold the quality of our products. Beyond testing, you'll prioritise continuous improvement, championing best practices that elevate both product quality and team morale and fostering a culture of mentorship and knowledge sharing within your team.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING?
As a Senior QA Engineer at Your Parking Space, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring our parking products meet impeccable quality standards. Your role involves crafting and executing cutting-edge test cases that uphold the quality of our products. Beyond testing, you'll prioritise continuous improvement, championing best practices that elevate both product quality and team morale and fostering a culture of mentorship and knowledge sharing within your team.
- Work alongside a team of 6 QA engineers.
- Evaluate, Repair, and Rejuvenate: Take ownership of assessing and enhancing the testing lifecycle, implementing innovative solutions to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Agile Collaboration: Working in an agile, collaborative environment with developers and product managers to create robust, multi-platform software.
- Test Estimates and Planning: Provide strategic test estimates and contribute to the planning and coordination of comprehensive test activities.
- Quality and Defect Management: Ensure that quality issues and defects are thoroughly identified, documented, tracked, and resolved, setting high standards for the team.
- Risk Identification and Test Coverage: Proactively identify risks and ensure thorough test coverage to validate new features, as well as leading regression testing activities.
- TestRail and Jira: Use TestRail to create, maintain, track, and execute test cases, and utilise Defect Tracking tools such as Jira.
- Fostering Culture and Mentorship: Foster a culture of change, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement within the team. Mentor and guide more junior team members, ensuring their growth and development.
- Documentation: Drive the review, maintenance, and creation of feature documentation/guides to be utilised by the wider team.
- Team and Personal Development: Work towards ambitious short, mid, and long-term team goals, and pursue continuous personal development goals.
- Minimum 3 years of QA Experience: Extensive proficiency in all aspects of QA, including test plan development, execution, and reporting.
- Product-Led Business Experience: Significant experience working in a product-led environment, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
- Strong Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment on project goals and QA processes.
- Continuous Improvement: Embrace a mindset of continuous improvement, actively seeking opportunities to enhance processes and practices.
- Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development, taking advantage of company-provided training and self-directed learning opportunities.
- Conflict Resolution: Use effective conflict resolution skills to foster positivity and achieve shared success.
- Good Team Player: Experience working collaboratively within a team environment.
- Experience Mentoring and Knowledge Sharing: Proven experience in leading and driving knowledge sharing initiatives and a passion for upskilling other members in the team.
- Driving Change: Demonstrated ability to drive change and improve processes within the QA team and the broader organisation.
- Testing on Mobile Platforms: Experience with mobile application testing.
- Autonomous Working: Proven ability to work autonomously, taking ownership of projects and proactively seeking out opportunities for improvement.
- Working Knowledge of SQL (desirable): Familiarity with SQL for querying databases.
- API Testing / Postman (desirable): Experience with API testing and tools like Postman.
- Automation Testing Experience (desirable): Familiarity with automation testing tools and frameworks.
- Alignment with Vision and Values: Align with the company's vision and values, contributing to a cohesive and motivated team environment.
