Main mission of the role


Product Strategy and Vision:

  • Define and drive the product vision and strategy for global payroll solutions.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for innovation
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer pain points and requirements related to global payroll.
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams, to gather feedback and ensure alignment on product direction.
  • Communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.


Product Development:

  • Lead the end-to-end product development process, from ideation to launch, for global payroll features.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, finance, and operations, to deliver high-quality product enhancements.
  • Prioritize product backlog, create user stories, and ensure timely delivery of product milestones.


Global Payroll:

  • Optimize the entire payroll process for 90+ countries, ensuring accuracy and efficie
  • ncy.Ensure the calculation of payroll, including salaries, benefits, bonuses, and deductions, is accurate and compliant with local regulations.
  • Manage the calculation of employer burden, including taxes, social security contributions, and other statutory requirements.
  • Develop and implement processes for invoicing clients and managing payouts to employees and contractors.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing and reporting.
  • Implement and optimize automated solutions for payroll processing, invoicing, and payouts to improve efficiency and reduce errors.



Performance and Optimization:

  • Monitor product performance metrics and user feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement data-driven strategies to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and user experience of our payroll solutions.
  • Continuously iterate on product features to deliver maximum value to our customers.


Your day-to-day:

  • Engineering Stand-ups: Lead daily stand-up meetings with the development team to review progress, address roadblocks, and align on daily goals.
  • Stakeholder Meetings: Conduct regular meetings with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback, discuss requirements, and ensure alignment on product priorities.
  • Product Backlog Management: Prioritize the product backlog based on strategic goals, customer feedback, and business needs. Ensure clear and actionable user stories are ready for the development team.
  • User Research and Feedback: Engage with customers to understand their experiences and gather feedback on current payroll features. Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability testing sessions.
  • Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with engineering, design, compliance, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of the product roadmap. Address any issues or dependencies that arise during development.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and product analytics to track the success of payroll features. Identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of product features, requirements, and development progress. Provide regular updates to senior management on product performance and strategic initiatives.



About you


Experience & Hard Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 4+ years of product management experience
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing complex product initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
  • Passion for remote work and a commitment to empowering businesses to operate globally.


Nice to have:

  • Preferred experience in payroll, HR Tech or payments
  • Understanding of global payroll processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
