Due to significant growth, we are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Project Director to join Metsol, the innovative developer of energy-saving equipment in the Primary Aluminium Industry. As a crucial part of the Green Aluminium Revolution, Metsol, as part of the Bathco Group, helps smelters reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions.

This role is pivotal in driving our mission forward by acquiring new customers, engaging in both technical and commercial discussions, and leading projects to success. The ideal candidate will have a deep technical understanding and experience in Aluminium Electrolysis, along with strong project management experience, commercial acumen, and leadership skills. Project Director Aluminium


Your Responsibilities:

• Lead the acquisition of new customers for Metsol's innovative products.

• Engage in technical and commercial discussions with potential clients.

• Manage projects from inception to successful completion, both off and on site.

• Drive business growth.

• Work closely with the team to ensure alignment and collaboration.

• Proactively seek opportunities for business development and expansion.

• Drive the company's technology arm by integrating technical expertise with sales strategies.

•Represent Metsol at conferences and present to industry audiences.

•Travel extensively to various project sites worldwide, with the possibility of remote work when not on site.


Skills and Experience you bring along:

• Deep technical understanding and experience in electrolysis, with several years of experience in senior positions in an Aluminium Smelter, ideally across various departments.

•A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.

• Strong project management skills.

• Commercial experience, including negotiation and sales.

• Leadership skills to effectively lead and inspire teams.

• Proactive approach to business development and growth.

• Ability to engage in both technical and commercial discussions with potential customers.

• Demonstrated ability to drive the entire sales process through to closing and beyond.

• Proven ability to drive the adoption of innovative products.
