IAM OPS Engineer - PAM

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Length: 6 Month Contract

Location / Remote Working: Remote

Pay Rate: 500 - 540 CHF Per Day

Summary

Trust in SODA is collaborating with a global pharmaceutical company who are looking for a new IAM OPS Engineer to join their team. You will be focused on Privileged Access Management (PAM) safeguarding the organisation's critical systems by ensuring secure access for privileged users. You are responsible to maintain and optimise the company's PAM solution, manage user life cycles and access requests, and troubleshoot any PAM-related security issues. This role plays a vital part in upholding compliance and minimising the risk of unauthorised access.

Essential Skills

  • Team lead of Indirect reports - 1 - 3 People
  • Budget Support in defining budget & planning cost road maps
  • Quality Focus on delivering consistent stable service for the organisation
  • Expert knowledge in the Delinea product
  • Strong understanding of IAM & PAM principles and best practices
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or equivalent working experience
  • English - Business Fluent Mandatory
  • Level of experience: Advanced 5-10 years in Privileged Access Management


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the user life cycle, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and access requests.
  • Design and implement access controls to enforce the principle of least privilege.
  • Monitor user activity to detect and prevent suspicious or unauthorised access attempts.
  • Maintain the health and security of IAM systems by patching vulnerabilities and performing upgrades.
  • Collaborate with security and application teams to ensure IAM solutions integrate seamlessly with other systems and processes.
  • Develop and maintain IAM policies to ensure compliance with security regulations.
  • Experience with industry PAM tools such as CyberArk, Delinea
  • Experience with IAM solutions and concepts (e.g., Active Directory, Azure AD, SailPoint)
  • Strong understanding of access control principles and best practices
  • Experience working in a fast-paced IT environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
