On behalf of our healthcare client, Affinity is looking for an MS Dynamics Developer.
Responsibilities:
• Design Application Components that meet Business Requirements using Microsoft Dynamics, Power Platform, and/or Azure Functions.
• Led the Technical Team members providing guidance and mentorship during the design, development, configuration, testing, and implementation of Application Components. This will include code review performance testing and tuning.
• Build complex components using Microsoft Power Automate, Azure Functions, and/or Dynamics Plugins.
• Build a solution to meet business needs able to grow with future business needs without introducing unnecessary complexity.
• Provide technical feedback on business requirements identifying potential solutions/approaches and any associated risks/mitigation options.
• Led the Technical Team during the configuration and creation of necessary Microsoft Power Platform Environments (i.e. Development, Test, UAT, and Production).
• Create interface solutions including but not limited to API, file uploads, HL7 messaging, etc.
• Ensure source control protection and support environment updates using YAML Pipelines on Azure Dev Ops.
• Prepare technical documentation required to support the project(s) and transition technical knowledge to the SCA support teams.
• Provide work time estimates to the Project Manager.
• Report technical progress risks and issues to the Project Manager.
• Diagnose and result system defects.
• Liaison with Health Care and Technical Partners representing SCA’s Technical Needs and Solutions.
Qualifications:
• Superior working knowledge of MS Dynamics software development technology, programming, workflow analysis principles, networks, and protocols.
• Knowledge of industry best practices and principles.
• Understanding of technical designs, specifications, principles systems, and software applications.
• Communication skills are required to develop and present complex information including written documentation and verbal presentations to audiences with varying levels of comprehension ability.
• Ability to comprehend complex business issues.
• Leadership and supervisory skills to coordinate with project teams through the project phases.
• Initiative and independent judgment are required to solve complex problems.
• Human relations skills required to ensure compliance and promote acceptance through negotiating with staff and suppliers where there is a requirement to resolve the conflict or situation.
• Human relations skills are required when meeting with vendors and SCA staff regarding compliance and acceptance issues, such as promoting standards to enhance interoperability between stakeholders or meet certification requirements.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers, patients/clients, senior leadership team, and/or the community.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, health care administration, engineering, or equivalent
• Diploma in computer technology or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in development using MS Dynamic
• Preference will be given to those with 3+ years of healthcare IT experience, including an understanding of the role of eHealth Saskatchewan concerning data integration and interfaces
• Experience working in a highly integrated environment
• Experience in managing and mentoring technical development teams
