What are we looking for in our Android Engineer?

The Information Technology team at Russell Tobin & Associates is supporting a top technology organization that has an opening for an Android Engineer.

Location: Remote / San Diego, CA

Type: 16 months contract

Pay Range: $65 to $75 - depending upon experience

Description:

• You will design and build applications for the Android platform
• You’ll implement requirements on Android apps, write and update design documents
• We’ll rely on you to continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to strengthen development efficiency
• You’ll interface with software test to ensure high quality product
• Develop automated unit and integration tests
• You’ll participate in design, code, and test reviews and provide technical leadership
• You will propose and implement enhancements to the apps to improve sustainability
• Attend all Scrum ceremonies and participate as a key member of the team
  
  

MUST HAVE:

• Java and Kotlin
• Design patterns such as MVC, MVVM, MVP
• Git, Github, Gitlab, Bitbucket and GitFlow
