Job Title: Dynamic Quantity Surveyor

Job Description: We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction cost management, contract administration, and financial planning. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects, ensuring that projects are completed within their projected budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and manage project budgets.
  • Perform risk, value management, and cost control during construction.
  • Advise on procurement strategy.
  • Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analysis.
  • Ensure that construction projects meet legal and quality standards.
  • Manage project change control and provide regular financial progress reports.
  • Resolve disputes and negotiate with contractors and suppliers.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to plans and specifications.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Professional accreditation (RICS, CIOB) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quantity surveying or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, law, and regulations.
  • Proficient in cost estimating and financial reporting software.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Equipment Requirements:

  • Reliable computer with high-speed internet access.
  • Access to necessary software and tools for quantity surveying.
