Product Designer

What you'll be working on

You'll be the primary product designer for an enterprise SaaS app used by executive recruiters to power their businesses.

Clockwork has been in existence for 14 years, and while the experience is not the most consistent, it is beloved by it's users. As a B2B SaaS product, brand design is not our core need. The job of design is to put our users and their needs at the center, helping build tools that unlock their ability to succeed.

Our goal over the next year is to simplify and standardize that experience, while beginning to experiment with ways that the last 15 years of data can be used to delight and empower our customers.

There's plenty of opportunities for immediate improvement, but as we go deeper you'll need to be very thoughtful about how to simplify while retaining the power that our customers rely on.

This is a part time role to start but will likely expand to full time.

Responsibilities

• Inventory the current application to discover and define a consistent design language and interaction style
• Incrementally redesign key interactions, and then core workflows to make them consistent and clear
• Create wireframes, prototypes and detailed visual designs
• Implement design system and component libraries using Figma
• Create concept designs that leverage ML to improve UX
• Collaborate closely with engineering to implement designs
  
  

Requirements

• Strong product design portfolio, preference for B2B SaaS and internal tools
• Expert knowledge of Figma
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for simplifying complexity and improving user experiences
