We are in search of a Business Developer in France to join our innovative team as our new #bloqstar. In this role, you'll play a crucial role in expanding our business efforts in the region. We’re looking for someone who is experienced in B2B business development, particularly in high-ticket, complex sales processes. We will empower you to take on the world and create a mark in a way that only you can.


What will be your responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to identify and engage potential clients, expanding our market share in the smart locker industry;
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities by leveraging your existing network and developing new relationships within the French market;
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in potential client organizations, ensuring that Bloq.it is top-of-mind when it comes to smart locker solutions;
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals with high-ticket B2B clients, negotiating contracts and ensuring a smooth transition to the implementation team;
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective sales collateral and campaigns, leveraging market insights and customer feedback to continually refine our approach;
  • Provide regular feedback to management on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers;
  • Represent Bloq.it at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities, building our brand and establishing ourselves as a thought leader in the smart locker space.


What are the requirements to join us in this position

  • Proven experience in B2B business development, with a track record of exceeding sales targets, ideally in a high-ticket, complex sales environment;
  • Deep knowledge of the French B2B market, as well as the ability to communicate fluently in English and French;
  • Excellent communication and soft skills, with the ability to establish and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders in large organizations;
  • Strategic mindset, with the ability to analyze market trends and identify opportunities for growth and innovation;
  • A passion for technology and innovation;
  • Proactive and results-driven approach, able to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
  • Willingness to give and receive feedback and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.


Extra Skills

  • Previous work experience with B2B tech scaleups;
  • A good understanding of the last-mile logistics space.
