Job Description:

As the Pricing Lead for the EAME region, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing pricing strategies to maximize profitability and market share for all product categories and strategic crop segments. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Finance as well as EAME commercial units to achieve business objectives and drive sustainable growth. Your primary responsibilities will include:


Strategy Development:

Develop and refine pricing strategies aligned with business objectives, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.

Analyze market trends, customer segments, and product performance to identify pricing opportunities and risks in the EAME region.


Price Setting and Monitoring:

Lead the process of setting and adjusting prices for crop protection products across various markets within the EAME region implementing Value pricing methodologies for differentiated products and commodity pricing strategies for non-differentiated products

Design and Utilize pricing analytics and tools to optimize pricing decisions and ensure competitiveness while maximizing profitability with Regional and country organizations.


Market Intelligence:

Together with the Country organizations you’ll have to monitor and analyze competitor pricing strategies, market dynamics, and regulatory changes to inform pricing decisions.

Conduct regular market research and gather insights to identify emerging trends and customer preferences.


Cross-functional Collaboration:

Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to develop pricing guidelines for crop strategic segments and customer-specific pricing practices.

Collaborate with Supply Chain teams to assess cost structures and evaluate pricing implications for new products and formulations.

Performance Tracking and Reporting:

Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track pricing performance, market share, and profitability metrics.

Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate pricing insights, trends, and recommendations to senior management.

Lead and participate in Regional and country Pricing committees.


Qualifications:

  • Understanding of agribusiness and Crop Protection markets in EAME.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in pricing, revenue management, or related roles within the agricultural industry, preferably in crop protection or agrochemicals.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in pricing analytics tools and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and regions.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages spoken within the EAME region are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within the EAME region as needed.
