Position Overview


We are looking for a talented Senior Web Designer to help us design and build beautiful Shopify Plus and Klaviyo email commerce experiences for our clients.


Reporting to our Head of Client Services, you will be responsible for pushing the user experience forward and making key decisions on design through every stage of our project lifecycles. You will work as part of a highly collaborative team that is passionate about creating amazing user experiences and obsessed with focusing on the needs of the end user.


You will be responsible for designing industry leading ecommerce stores for established organizations as well as new and exciting brands in a wide range of industries including: fashion and apparel, beauty, lifestyle, food, technology, luxury goods and more. You will help our clients launch and grow websites from concept to completion to post-launch growth initiatives.


The ideal candidate will have excellent Figma skills, a passion for ecommerce, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position. Candidates must be based in the US, Canada, or the UK.


Responsibilities include:


  • Lead end-to-end UX/UI design process for ecommerce websites on the Shopify platform, from conceptualization to implementation, ensuring adherence to project objectives and deadlines.
  • Develop wireframes, designs, and prototypes in Figma for mobile and desktop platforms, ensuring responsiveness and adherence to established style guides.
  • Iterate on designs based on feedback, user testing results, and stakeholder input to enhance user experience and drive performance.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Client Success Managers, Development Team, and Project Managers, to align design solutions with project vision and goals.
  • Present design concepts and solutions to clients and internal stakeholders throughout the design process, incorporating feedback and revisions as needed.
  • Maintain and evolve design systems, style guides, and UI patterns to ensure consistency across products and platforms, while staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Advocate for user-centered design principles and conversion rate optimization strategies to enhance overall user experience and drive business outcomes.
  • Proactively manage internal communications and client expectations to ensure satisfaction and project success, identifying opportunities for process improvement and recommending solutions.
  • Provide guidance and support on UX and design-led strategies for clients, balancing end-user needs with business requirements, and actively participating in quality assurance and user acceptance testing of projects.


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your designs in ecommerce.
  • Figma expert and experience with Shopify and Klaviyo and tools such as Zoom, Slack and Teamwork.
  • Ability to interpret data to drive insights and decision-making.
  • Conversion Rate Optimization experience
  • Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 Accessibility standards
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present and defend design decisions to stakeholders.
  • Exceptional collaboration skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with internal teams.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills to meet project deadlines.
  • Creative problem solver with a strategic mindset
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and client needs.
  • Willingness to learn and an interest in retail, consumer brands, ecommerce, and digital marketing is a must.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
