About The Role

As a Revenue Marketing Lead you’ll work to gain a strong understanding of our products, the merchants segments we serve, our competitor set and develop powerful solution narratives that either drive product adoption amongst existing merchants or help attract new merchants to Shopify. You’ll own and foster critical relationships with leaders across product, commercial, UX, and other marketing teams to develop and improve solution narratives, evergreen marketing assets and sales enablement materials. You will measure your impact not solely based on the success of your portfolio, but also on your ability to influence and level up adjacent products, processes, and teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop the product narrative and positioning that differentiates Shopify’s product strategy, products, and features, and build the solution narratives and positioning that differentiates Shopify’s upmarket strategy, products, and features
  • Understand merchant needs, the product roadmap, and market trends across the holistic Shopify platform
  • Gain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape for our target segments, uncovering opportunities and pitfalls for the broader team as a whole
  • Own the end-to-end GTM strategy to enable successful product launches and growth campaigns, and do this by working cross-functionally with Product Management, UX, Engineering, Marketing, PR, Support, Data, Revenue Operations, and Sales
  • Craft and implement holistic enablement strategies and tools to drive commercial and partner organizations and outcomes
  • Forge high-utility relationships with the sales organization, maintaining a two-way partnership designed to share insights, level up sales conversations, and create best-in-class enablement


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7+ years experience in a revenue-driven marketing organization or, product marketing role, or events
  • A strong understanding of marketing B2B and B2B2C SaaS products
  • Experience driving global business, product, and product marketing strategy
  • Experience with go-to-market and journey optimization
  • Experience with a growth company or growth business unit
  • The ability to thrive in chaos and think quickly on your feet
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • A resourceful attitude and strong influencing skills, you'll be working with a lot of different teams across Shopify and external partners
