Sub-Saharan AfricaAkaysha Energy is about to commence operations of two state of the art Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in the South-East Queensland region. The role of Site Manager is required to run the day-to-day operations of these two sites, having ownership over site safety, reliability and production. You'll work in with external contractors who will be responsible for 24/7 site operations (via a remote control room) and maintenance of equipment on site (via Battery service providers and balance of plant service providers). This role will also be responsible for managing any other contractor work completed on site. You will be involved in setting up all the requirements for these sites, including assisting in design, construction and handover from our development and delivery team - influencing outcomes as we build the sites.Sub-Saharan Africa

• Sub-Saharan AfricaDevelop and manage annual maintenance plans in conjunction with maintenance contractors and around any relevant contractual and commercial considerations.Sub-Saharan Africa
• Sub-Saharan AfricaAssist with pre-Operations activities such AEMO registration, reviews of subcontractor scopes and pricing, development of operational budgets.Sub-Saharan Africa

• Sub-Saharan AfricaMonitor and report out on asset performance, reliability, and health - for example capacity, degradation, round-trip efficiency, availability, operational health such as thermal events, outage, average SOC and cycling rates.Sub-Saharan Africa
