We are seeking a Product Data Science manager who is a true student of both the craft of management and the craft of doing data work which leads to remarkable impact. - Set aggressive timelines, shipping weekly, while using first principles to solve important problems and avoid falling into orthodoxy traps.
- Extensive experience in a data science role solving high impact business problems within a collaborative, cross-functional environment
- Experience building and managing high performance data science teams
- Experience delivering business impact through analysis and data products
- Technical leadership and management experience (you enjoy doing both). You can jump into the code to the level that your direct reports admire and respect, but are also interested in developing people and capacity for your team
- Experience using data to push forward product development, as opposed to merely in a support role
- Extreme numerical fluency and experience with using statistical methods like a/b tests in the real world
- Strong ability to prioritize and communicate to technical and non-technical audiences alike
- Experience building data pipelines and driving ETL design decisions
