Economics Design are looking for dynamic and visionary professionals to lead our initiatives in the rapidly evolving Web3 space. These roles are tailor-made for people who are not just masters of communication and accountability but also pride themselves on attention to detail, ensuring every 't' is crossed and 'i' is dotted. The ideal candidates may be either generalists with a wealth of experience in product ownership and development, alongside a deep understanding of business strategy, growth, and modelling. Or specialists, who have a depth of experience and knowledge in economics, token economics or financial modelling. What you’ll focus on

Project Delivery:

• Lead client communication and project delivery, ensuring clarity and precision
• Apply expertise in product development, business strategy, and economic models
• Design token utility, value flow, and incentive structures
• Manage project planning, resources, and risk mitigation
• Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration for effective implementation
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation

Sales & Business Development:

• Identify new opportunities through market analysis and personal network
• Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams
• Contribute to sales targets through negotiation and pipeline management
• Engage in networking events and collaborate with consultancy and marketing teams
• Leverage experience from top-tier consulting or fintech roles to drive innovation

About you

• Financial and Product Expertise: 5+ years expertise in areas such as financial services, product management, economic modelling, incentive design or mechanism design
• Consulting Proficiency: Highly refined foundational consulting competencies in research, analysis, presentation, and meticulous attention to detail
• Web3 Acumen: In-depth knowledge of the Web3 ecosystem, including blockchain technology, decentralised finance (DeFi), NFTs, and related concepts, or an insatiable curiosity and passion for learning with an eagerness to pivot or deepen engagement in this sector
• Remote Collaboration Skills: Experience working in a remote-first, async-first environment, with a geographically dispersed and culturally diverse team
• Industry Adaptability: Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and rapidly evolving industry and start-up working environment
• Self-Motivation: Self-motivated with a proactive and results-oriented mindset
• Communication Excellence: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Must be fluent in English
• Independence and Organisation: Organised and self-sufficient. Ability to be self-directed and be an independent contributor to the team
• Reliable Engagement: Exhibit unparalleled dedication by consistently showing up to work, meetings, and conversations, reinforcing a culture of reliability and engagement
