Our client is looking for a Senior Full-stack Software Engineer with min 7 years experience in coding languages Java/ PHP and Android/ iOS to join their team on a 12-month, remote (within the UK) PAYE contract with the possibility to extend.

You will play a key role in developing and implementing systems that enforce community guidelines, address misuse of the platform, and ensure fair treatment for all users.

Your Impact:

• You will be at the forefront of building a proportional enforcement system that effectively addresses violations across all messaging experiences.
• You will help build a new system for detecting and mitigating risks associated with malicious users and groups.
• You will contribute to the development of an automated appeals process, ensuring fairness and efficiency in reviewing user disputes.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain code for enforcement systems using backend coding languages (full-stack experience a plus).
• Leverage internal tools like Hack to build scalable and reliable services.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the existing enforcement systems.
• Successfully deliver on large-scale projects while maintaining high productivity.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in full stack coding languages Java/ PHP and Android/ iOS
• Proven experience in independently developing and releasing changes to production
• Strong problem solving skills
