- Perform modeling, design, and technical calculations for overhead transmission systems
- Prepare drawings and diagrams using computerized drafting tools
- Exercise initiative and judgement in completing assignments independently
- Analyze tower models and usage efficiencies, fixing potential overstress issues
- Proficient in working with PLS-Tower models in PLS-CADD and running its modules
- Graduation from an accredited institute program in Electrical/Civil/Mechanical Technology or Technician with OACETT Certification
- 5+ years of relevant design/drafting experience in consulting and/or Energy environment
- Proficiency in PLS-CADD and PLS-Tower
- Knowledge and working experience related to Canadian Safety Code
- Well-developed communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience in an engineering consulting firm
