We're seeking an experienced professional with a deep understanding and appreciation of Chinese culture. To excel in this role, we are looking for someone who is fluent in Mandarin and deeply connected to the local culture.
Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with leadership and stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor, helping them to understand and leverage financial data to achieve goals.
- Oversee and manage client payment operations for all China offices.
- Identify financial risks and recommend strategies to mitigate them while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and presentations for global reporting and statutory audit processes by managing audit and liaising with auditors.
- Extract insights from financial reports on monthly/quarterly level and presenting these insights to global team in a clear and actionable manner.
- Involve in monthly closing review through GAAP difference and account classifications.
- Assist in the preparation and monitoring of departmental budgets, providing guidance on cost control and resource allocation.
- Act as a key driver for global policies, process and system implementations.
- Assist in ad-hoc process improvement projects.
- Develop, and lead a high-performing finance team. Provide mentorship, coaching, and guidance to team members, fostering their professional growth and ensuring the team's success.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Audit etc.
- At least 8 years working experience in accounting, and 3-5 years’ experience in people management.
- Understanding and familiarity with PRC GAAP.
- Strong expertise in managing accounting and finance operations experience.
- Good communications and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in English and Mandarin.
