We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be pivotal in defining and managing our product roadmap for our SaaS products, ensuring the successful delivery of new features and enhancements. You will work closely with the engineering team on a daily basis to ensure project specifications are met and hurdles are efficiently overcome.
Reporting directly to the Head of Product, you will be instrumental in using your project management skills to guide major stakeholders through the execution process, guaranteeing that our innovative solutions align with business objectives and meet market demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Roadmap Management: Collaborate with the Head of Product to define and prioritise the product roadmap based on company goals, market trends, and customer feedback.
- Engineering Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with the engineering team daily to clarify product specifications, overcome obstacles, and deliver high-quality features swiftly and efficiently.
- Work Definition: Use Jira to define and organise work items, ensuring clear and concise requirements for development teams.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for all major stakeholders, including customers, internal teams, and external partners, to gather requirements, communicate updates, and gather feedback.
- Project Management: Employ project management techniques and methodologies to plan, execute, and monitor product initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and sales to align product strategy with business objectives and ensure successful product launches.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyse market trends, user feedback, and performance metrics to make informed decisions and iterate on product features and enhancements.
- Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA teams to ensure that product releases meet quality standards and are free of defects.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, with a strong preference for experience in the SaaS software sector.
- Proven experience defining and managing work using Jira or similar project management tools.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Experience working in Agile development environments is preferred.
