Role Description
This is a part-time role, 15-20hrs / week for a Product Manager with strong UI/UX skills at KNIC Ventures. The Product Manager UI/UX will be responsible for overseeing the user interface and user experience design of our client solutions, ensuring they align with the client's vision and goals. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, conduct user research, and create wireframes and prototypes. The Product Manager UI/UX will also work closely with developers to implement and refine the user interface, and will continuously monitor and improve the usability of our products and client solutions.
You'll form part of the Core KNIC team responsible for delivery of all our client projects along side the Senior Project Manager/Scrum Master and Principal Engineer. The development teams are global, spanning The Philippines, India and South Africa.
In this exciting role you'll be working across 8-12 concurrent client projects with different tech, industry and design requirements, so there is a great opportunity for variety of work and innovative thinking.
Your day to day role will include gathering client requirements, working with the core team to write and prioritise development tickets, creating mockups from wireframes to high fidelity designs, crafting regular client updates and working with the CEO on strategic opportunities and sales.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Product Manager UI/UX or similar role
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Attention to detail and a passion for creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces
- Experience in the Prop-Tech industry is a plus
