Transportation Billing Coordinator

The Transportation Billing Coordinator ensures accurate and timely billing for all transportation services. This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and effective communication with customers, carriers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and validate transportation documents (BOLs, PODs, rate confirmations).
  • Generate invoices based on agreed rates and services provided.
  • Collaborate with operations to resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Maintain organized records of all billing transactions.
  • Communicate with customers and carriers to resolve billing issues.
  • Support internal and external audits related to billing.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance billing efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in billing, preferably in transportation or logistics.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and data analysis capabilities.
