Key Responsibilities
- Lead Business Development and Account Management activities for major global financial institutions active in Iberia and Latin America.
- Develop a deep understanding of the needs and the internal and external challenges of major banks and financial advisors through active account management.
- Generate and process new business leads, reacting quickly to market changes and emerging opportunities.
- Qualify, develop, and maintain sales opportunities through research, product knowledge, and a clear understanding of client needs.
- Guide new clients through the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition and setup.
- Schedule onboarding workshops and ensure detailed handovers to Account Management teams, including use cases, key contacts, and growth opportunities.
- Negotiate and contract structured offers.
- Maintain regular contact with multiple stakeholders and build a strong network within Aurora’s key clients and partners.
- Track the milestones and strategic activities of your accounts, foresee and foster upcoming opportunities, and develop plans to increase account value through cross-selling Aurora’s full range of services.
- Take responsibility for supporting your accounts throughout financial transactions where Aurora’s forecasts are bankable, and track your success.
- Pitch Aurora’s offerings and prepare tailored proposals for potential add existing customers.
- Use Salesforce CRM to ensure standard processes are followed across all sales stages and to closely monitor your pipeline.
- Represent Aurora with a comprehensive understanding of our offerings in client and group meetings, as well as at national and international fairs and events.
- Contribute to the development of new products and the improvement of existing offerings. Strengthen internal processes and take ownership of internal improvement initiatives and projects.
- Develop new marketing materials as needed.

- Proven record of strong performance in team-oriented environments.
- Enthusiasm and curiosity about the energy transition and energy finance.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is required; proficiency in Portuguese and/or additional European languages is a strong asset.
- Experience in sales, business development, and client relationship management, ideally in energy-related subscription sales.
- Proven track record of managing a client portfolio.
- Understanding of due diligence, business development, and project management within transactions and energy project financing.
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
- Prior professional exposure to energy economics, power markets, or power networks.
