Arts & Humanities and History & Society (AHHS) Student Office Assistant
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain AHHS suite: monitor and restock supplies; process mail and deliveries; clean kitchen, mailroom and lounge; water plants
 - Assist Arts & Humanities and History & Society Division Coordinators: assist with projects and events, design event flyers/brochures (print and electronic), update rosters, collect data and documents, maintain Outlook calendar, post event marketing materials around campus—, run campus errands
 - Support faculty with copying, scanning, filing and research.
 - Maintain AHHS social media accounts (Instagram and Facebook) by attending events and creating posts.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong attention to detail.
 - High level of organization.
 - Must be reliable and flexible for multi-tasking.
 - Self-starter and able to work independently.
 - Excellent technical and computer skills.
 - Well-versed in Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Canva.
 - Strong and professional writing skills.
 - Good eye for poster and social media design.
 - Adept with social media
 
HOURS & Salary:
- 8-12 hours/week
 - Minimum 1.5 hours a day in office Monday-Thursday
 - Daily hours flexible based upon class schedule.
 - All shifts end of 3:00pm
 - MA minimum wage.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:
- This is a one semester position for Spring 2026 when current Student Office Assistant is abroad.
 - Paid training optional during November 2025.
