Position Summary
The Product Delivery Manager (PDM) is responsible for leading one or more cross-functional delivery teams to successfully plan, execute, and deliver software products and enhancements aligned to business goals. This role bridges strategy and execution translating product priorities into actionable delivery plans, ensuring alignment across Product, Engineering, and Quality, and driving operational excellence through consistent agile practices. The PDM supports Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Tech Leads, and QA Engineers to ensure high-quality releases, predictable delivery, and continuous improvement. This position reports to the Director of Product Delivery and is based in Mount Arlington, New Jersey.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Delivery Leadership
· Lead end-to-end delivery for assigned products or platforms, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and product strategy.
· Translate product roadmaps into detailed delivery plans, managing scope, timelines, and interdependencies across engineering teams.
· Facilitate sprint and release planning, tracking progress through key metrics such as velocity, throughput, and quality.
· Identify and resolve risks, blockers, and cross-team dependencies proactively.
· Maintain visibility into delivery health through KPIs and communicate progress to leadership and stakeholders.
Agile & Process Excellence
· Champion agile best practices across teams to promote consistency, transparency, and adaptability.
· Partner with Scrum Masters to improve predictability, collaboration, and delivery maturity.
· Support adoption of automation, CI/CD, and DevOps practices to improve delivery speed and quality.
· Collaborate with the Engineering Success and Growth Manager (ESGM) to reinforce delivery discipline, technical enablement, and team development.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Work closely with Product Owners to balance scope, priorities, and team capacity, ensuring work aligns with strategic goals.
· Coordinate with QA, DevOps, and shared service teams (Data, Platform, Security) to deliver integrated, high-quality releases.
· Partner with leadership on release readiness, resource planning, and post-release reviews.
· Serve as a communication bridge between product management, business stakeholders, and technical teams to maintain alignment and clarity throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Continuous Improvement & Governance
· Track and analyze delivery performance metrics and retrospectives to identify areas for improvement.
· Contribute to process and tooling enhancements in partnership with the Director of Product Delivery.
· Ensure adherence to MedPro’s compliance, privacy, and quality management standards (ISO 9001, ISO 27001, SOC 2).
· Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and shared ownership across all delivery teams
Requirements
Education/Certification
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field
· Agile certification (e.g., CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe) preferred
Job Qualifications
· Strong understanding of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
· Experience managing multiple concurrent projects or teams in a product-aligned environment.
· Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and modern DevOps practices.
· Skilled in dependency management, capacity planning, and delivery metrics tracking.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge business and technical perspectives.
Preferred Skills
· Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, Octopus Deploy, or comparable delivery tools.
· Background in regulated or compliance-driven industries (pharmaceutical, med-device, healthcare, or SaaS).
· Awareness of AI strategy and tools that enhance delivery efficiency, analytics, and decision-making (e.g., AI-assisted planning, reporting, or workflow automation) preferred.
Years’ Experience
· 4–6+ years of experience in software delivery, agile project management, or product operations.
· 2+ years leading multiple teams or platforms preferred
