Customer Solutions Consultant – Drive Service Excellence & Customer Growth in a Purpose-Led Business!

We're looking for a Customer Solutions Consultant who thrives on solving problems, driving customer engagement, and contributing to a safer, cleaner world.

 

As part of the Freightways Group, one of Australasia’s leading logistics and information management companies, Med-X Healthcare Solutions is a national leader in Clinical Waste, Sharps Disposal, and Hygiene & Washroom services. In this role, you’ll work closely with a portfolio of healthcare and commercial customers – supporting them with service delivery, building relationships, and identifying new opportunities for growth and innovation. 

 

What You’ll Do

  • Be the primary point of contact for your customer portfolio—resolving queries, managing service requests, and providing an exceptional experience.
  • Build strong client relationships through proactive communication and service excellence.
  • Accurately manage customer records and service agreements in our cloud-based CRM.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Operations, Compliance, Logistics) to deliver seamless service enhancements.
  • Identify and act on upsell and cross-sell opportunities to support business growth.
  • Support pricing updates, new service rollouts, and product promotions.
  • Assist the external sales team with customer insights, quotes, and administrative support.
  • Drive customer engagement via phone, email, and targeted campaigns.
  • Maintain a high standard of professionalism in all communications and interactions.
  • Participate in team projects, training sessions, toolbox meetings, and general support tasks.

 

What You Bring

  • Previous experience in internal sales or customer service (healthcare, hygiene, or waste sectors highly regarded).
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong commercial awareness.
  • Confidence managing a diverse workload in a compliance-driven, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills—both verbal and written.
  • High attention to detail, follow-through, and record-keeping accuracy.
  • CRM/database management experience (cloud-based systems preferred).
  • A team-oriented attitude with the ability to also work independently.
  • Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office and strong admin capabilities.
