Location: North San Francisco Bay area, CA (Must live nearby as it will be Onsite during first few months of training; Hybrid or Remote after)

Employment Type: Full-Time, W2

Compensation: base + commission | High earning potential

Our client is a growth-focused financial services firm specializing in life, disability, and long-term care insurance. As part of M Financial Group, which supports over 145 firms nationwide, they provide proprietary products, reinsurance resources, and comprehensive advisor development support. The firm is expanding rapidly through acquisitions and is seeking motivated advisors to grow with them.


Role Overview

We are seeking a licensed Life Insurance Producer/Advisor to join the San Rafael office. This role begins with an intensive in-office training program (approximately three months) to immerse you in the firm’s culture, clients, and processes. Following training, the role transitions to a hybrid/remote model with significant client-facing responsibilities in the field. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required.


The firm maintains a substantial book of thousands of prospective clients, giving the right candidate immediate access to leads and opportunities. You will begin with joint calls alongside senior advisors before progressing to manage client conversations independently.


Key Responsibilities

  • Focus on life, disability, and long-term care insurance sales and servicing
  • Conduct client meetings (in-person and via Zoom) to assess needs and present solutions
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and networks of influence
  • Learn and explain carrier illustrations, proposals, and quotes
  • Participate in joint client meetings during training, transitioning to independent management within 3–6 months
  • Leverage Microsoft 365, ChatGPT, SmartOffice CRM, and carrier illustration systems for daily operations
  • Manage and service a large book of business in a process-driven manner


Must-Have Qualifications

  • Life and/or disability insurance sales experience
  • Active Life & Health license
  • Strong relationship-building and client-facing skills
  • Process-driven with the ability to manage a high-volume client base
  • Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle


Compensation & Benefits

  • $100-150K (Base + Commission) **top performers can make close to $500K+/yr**
